Behind Bars

Just noted that BAR will test Townsend Bell and Björn Wirdheim as prediceted. Not very suprising since the Arden team has owner connections to the BAR-Honda team.

Wirdheim and Jordan

There’s a report from TT (TV4, DN) that say Björn Wirdheim will try for Jordan in September during the Italian Grand Prix at Monza and there have previously been rumors about a trip to Britain to mold a F1-seat. And Björn aknowledged in an interview that he would celebrate the F3000 World Champion title by molding another seat, “Why?”, he was asked, “Because I need two seats, this one is for another team”.

Heat

The temperature is killing me, I can barerly get anything done in the day time. Because of the relative short period of summer here in sweden air conditioning isn’t exactly standard.

It’s hot in Hockenheim to. And hottest of them all is Björn Wirdheim who secured the World Champion title today in F3000.

Nicolas Kiesa, the dane Björn accidently gave away his Monaco win to, is driving his first F1 race tomorrow for Minardi starting P20 on the grid.

Prediction and Predication

The few who know me can tell you for sure I’m not a big sport fan. Except when it come to motor sport and formula racing in particular. My mother can witness about me as a kid turning the living room table up side down and converting it to a Formula One car with stearing wheel pretending to be Ronnie Pettersson.
