April 1, 2006 was the day when even the Slashdot-crowd realized it was pointless to post comments…
Seriously, take a look at the number of comments posted for today’s stories and compare to a “normal” day rate. The number of comments below my threshold match up almost evenly with the total number of comments. Normally I believe all comments on Slashdot is below me; I just left the threshold at the default setting to be fair.
I actually like the Pinkdot look. Slahsdot going bananas is better than no bananas at all.
