I’m a little stressed out lately despite the fact that I’m on a holiday break. Life is like a ketchup bottle, first comes nothing, then come everything at once.

The first thing I have to do this week is finishing two of my papers, Basic Study In Theoretical Humor in humanities and The Right To Water in social sciences, and turn them in to get my grades. Then I got a bunch of one page historical essays that I’m supposed to write, fortunately it seems like I don’t have to do them all and can just pick the important ones.

While writing my paper in the humanities I’ve been struggling with getting the correct citation and bibliography style with BibTeX and LaTeX (I use LyX instead of the dreadfully word processor.) We’re supposed to use Oxford style citation with superscript and bibliography as footnote on the same page as the citation. But I can’t find a style that will do that for me, and anything less that will format the bibliography following TNC’s recommendations…

And the days before Christmas I was headhunted by two companies on the same day! Well, I guess I should be flattered. One of them was a small start-up that I’ve decided to go along with, and they’re planning to have a prototype out in three months, so there’s more stress for ya…

I’ve also begun to chronicle my struggles creating a playable game prototype with TGE over at GarageGames. But that’s just a hobby project.

Oh, and just like I didn’t have anything else to do I’ve been playing around with this blog adding some bells and whistles to the RSS/Atom feed. It isn’t much, just a kind of live feed of my life online.
