When I started writing this blog I (half-)promised to reveal my Kevin Bacon number. I have now manualy, by a little help from IMDB, estimated it to be a “4”.
And this is my proof: I worked on the Eminem Guilt and Conciency video -> Eminem starred against Kim Basinger in 8 Mile -> Kim Basinger worked with then hubby Alec Baldwin in Getaway -> Alec Baldwin worked with Kevin Bacon on She’s having a baby !
Since Kevin Bacon is determined to be the gravity center of entertaiment business I guess this will mean I have a fair chance to get into Troubador (or whatever club equals good ol’ Viper Room) next time I’m in L.A.
To be really accurate I would have to download the whole IMDB database (wich is freely available by ftp) and apply some graph theory (find shortest path by depth first search). But that’s for another time…
